London: Tuesday, December 31, 2019: Hutchison China MediTech Limited (“Chi-Med”) (AIM/Nasdaq: HCM) hereby notifies the market that as at December 31, 2019, the issued share capital of Chi-Med consisted of 666,906,450 ordinary shares of US$0.10 each, with each share carrying one right to vote and with no shares held in treasury.

The above figure of 666,906,450 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they could determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Chi-Med under the Financial Conduct Authority’s Disclosure Rules and Transparency Rules.

For illustrative purposes only, the 666,906,450 ordinary shares would be equivalent to 666,906,450 CREST depositary interests (each equating to one ordinary share) which are traded on AIM or, if the CREST depositary interests were converted in their entirety, equivalent to 133,381,290 American depositary shares (each equating to five ordinary shares) which are traded on Nasdaq.

伦敦:2019年12月20日,星期五:和黄中国医药科技有限公司(简称“和黄医药”或“Chi-Med”) (AIM/Nasdaq: HCM) 今天宣布中国国家药品监督管理局(“国家药监局”)药品审评中心将索凡替尼用于非胰腺神经内分泌瘤患者的新药上市申请纳入优先审评。

“索凡替尼是我们第二款被纳入国家药监局优先审评的药物。”和黄医药首席执行官贺隽(Christian Hogg)表示,“我们正与国家药监局就索凡替尼用于非胰腺神经内分泌瘤治疗的新药上市申请密切沟通。目前非胰腺神经内分泌瘤的治疗选择非常有限。索凡替尼被纳入优先审评,将为把这款创新药带向患者迈出积极的一步。”

2019年11月,国家药监局受理了索凡替尼用于治疗非胰腺神经内分泌瘤的新药上市申请。此外,美国食品药品监督管理局(FDA)亦授予索凡替尼孤儿药资格,用于胰腺神经内分泌瘤的治疗。

 

关于索凡替

索凡替尼(surufatinib,亦称HMPL-012或sulfatinib)是由和黄医药自主研发的一种新型的口服酪氨酸激酶抑制剂,具有抗血管生成和免疫调节双重活性。索凡替尼可通过抑制血管内皮生长因子受体(VEGFR)和成纤维细胞生长因子受体(FGFR)以阻断肿瘤血管生成,并可抑制集落刺激因子-1受体(CSF-1R),通过调节肿瘤相关巨噬细胞,促进机体对肿瘤细胞的免疫应答。因为具有抗肿瘤血管生成和免疫调节的双重机制,索凡替尼可能非常适合与其他免疫疗法联合使用。目前,索凡替尼正在美国开展多项概念验证研究,同时正在中国开展多项后期临床试验及概念验证研究。

据Frost & Sullivan公司估计, 中国抗血管生成血管内皮生长因子受体(VEGF/VEGFR)抑制剂的市场已从2015年的5亿美元增长至2019年的超过15亿美元,预计到2026年将达到50亿美元。

和黄医药目前拥有索凡替尼在全球范围内的所有权利。

中国非胰腺神经内分泌瘤研究:2015年,和黄医药启动了SANET-ep研究,这是一项关于索凡替尼以晚期非胰腺神经内分泌瘤为适应症的中国III 期临床试验,而这些患者目前尚无有效治疗方法。2019年6月,该研究独立数据监察委员会(IDMC)评估认为,共198名患者参与的中期分析成功达到无进展生存期(“PFS”)这一预设主要疗效终点并提前终止研究。2019年11月,索凡替尼的新药上市申请获国家药监局受理。

中国胰腺神经内分泌瘤研究:2016年,和黄医药在中国启动了一项关键性III期注册研究SANET-p,入组患者为低级别或中级别晚期胰腺神经内分泌瘤患者。主要研究终点为PFS。和黄医药计划于2020年上半年开展一项中期分析,并在2020年完成患者入组工作(clinicaltrials.gov 注册号NCT02589821)。

美国与欧洲神内分泌瘤研究:由于索凡替尼以神经内分泌瘤为适应症的II期及III期中国临床试验数据令人鼓舞(clinicaltrials.gov 注册号NCT02267967),且美国Ib期临床试验进展顺利 (clinicaltrials.gov 注册号NCT02549937),和黄医药计划在美国开展索凡替尼在神经内分泌瘤患者中的注册性研究。

中国胆道癌研究:2019年3月,和黄医药启动了一项IIb/III期临床试验,旨在对比索凡替尼和卡培他滨治疗一线化疗失败晚期胆道癌患者的疗效和安全性。该研究的主要终点为总生存率(OS)(clinicaltrials.gov 注册号NCT03873532)。

免疫法: 2018年11月及2019年9月,和黄医药达成了数个合作协议,以评估索凡替尼联合PD-1单克隆抗体的安全性、耐受性和疗效。其中包括与上海君实生物医药科技股份有限公司在全球共同开发索凡替尼与拓益®联合疗法的合作协议,及与信达生物制药在全球共同开发达伯舒®联合疗法的合作协议。拓益®及达伯舒®均已在中国获批。

 

关于神经内分泌

神经内分泌瘤(NET)起源于与神经系统相互作用的细胞或产生激素的腺体。神经内分泌瘤可起源于体内很多部位,最常见于消化道或肺部,可为良性或恶性肿瘤。按照起源,神经内分泌瘤通常分为胰腺神经内分泌瘤和非胰腺神经内分泌瘤。获批的靶向治疗包括索坦®(苹果酸舒尼替尼)和飞尼妥®(依维莫司),用于治疗胰腺神经内分泌瘤或高度分化的非功能性胃肠道或肺神经内分泌瘤。

据Frost & Sullivan公司估计,2018年美国神经内分泌瘤新诊断病例为19,000例。值得关注的是,与其他肿瘤相比,神经内分泌瘤患者的生存期相对较长,因此,虽然神经内分泌瘤发病率相对不高,但患者人群相对较大。此外,据估计2018年美国神经内分泌瘤患者约141,000名,其中约有超九成,即132,000名患者,为非胰腺神经内分泌瘤患者。

Chi-Med granted 400,000 share options under its 2015 HCML Share Option Scheme to an employee to subscribe for Ordinary Shares subject to the acceptance of the grantee.  Details of such share options granted prescribed are as follows:
