香港：2019年2月12日，星期二：和黃中國醫藥科技有限公司（簡稱「和黃醫藥」或「Chi-Med」）（納斯達克/倫敦證交所：HCM）今日宣佈CALYPSO II期臨床研究中探索沃利替尼/Imfinzi®（durvalumab）聯合療法治療轉移性乳頭狀腎細胞癌（PRCC）研究隊列的初步結果已公佈。這是一項研究者發起的臨床試驗，主要研究者為英國Barts癌症研究所實體瘤研究首席研究員Thomas Powles教授，研究的申辦方為倫敦瑪麗王后大學（Queen Mary University of London）。
CALYPSO 研究中PRCC隊列的完整資料將於2019年2月16日（週六）在三藩市舉行的美國臨床腫瘤學會泌尿生殖系統腫瘤研討會（ASCO GU）上進行口頭與海報報告。

關於CALYPSO研究中的PRCC隊列
乳頭狀腎細胞癌（PRCC）是腎癌的一種亞型，通常難以治療，現有療法能夠獲得的緩解率較低，目前對此適應症暫無獲批的治療方式。CALYPSO研究為獨立資助的開放標籤II 期研究，在英國及西班牙進行，旨在探索Imfinzi®分別與數種其他藥物聯合治療腎細胞癌的安全性和療效。CALYPSO研究中的數個隊列正在評估沃利替尼治療PRCC或腎透明細胞癌（ccRCC）的情況。沃利替尼為一種高選擇性c-MET受體酪氨酸激酶抑制劑，在該研究中用作單藥或與阿斯利康開發的程式性死亡配體1（PD-L1 ）的單克隆抗體Imfinzi®（durvalumab）聯合使用。CALYPSO的入組物件為所有PRCC患者，並將對患者進行預定的回顧式分子特徵譜分析。如需瞭解更多詳情，請參考clinicaltrials.gov研究編號NCT02819596。
