Job Title: Director, Key External Expert (KEE) Liaison
Location: Florham Park, NJ


Primary Function

The Director, Key External Expert (KEE) Liaison will be part of the HUTCHMED US Commercial organization, supporting the commercial teams across the US to identify and collaborate with current and emerging KEE’s within and across cancer tumor types where HUTCHMED has approved brands. S/he will champion all commercial KEE engagement supporting tactics and peer-to-peer deliverables. Reporting into the VP of Marketing, the Director, KEE Liaison will focus on national impact with KEE’s, while delivering actionable insights back to the HUTCHMED commercial organization. In order to build a strong corporate presence, s/he will focus on driving strong engagement with specific KEE’s in a highly compliant manner consistent with approved product labeling.


Major Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain KEE commercial engagement plans that are shared and implemented with both sales and marketing leadership
  • Strong collaboration and coordination with cross-functional HQ field teams including Market Access and Medical Affairs/MSLs is expected and should be reflected in the KEE engagement plan
  • Plan, execute and attend National and Regional Congresses with a focus on meaningful engagements with senior leadership and in support of marketing initiatives
  • Support commercial advisory boards and KEE mapping initiatives
  • Identify, recruit, monitor and coordinate training for on-label speaker programs
  • Monitor KEE insights about current and future treatment patterns that may impact the commercial strategy and provide feedback for consideration
  • Align with cross functional teams and orchestrate commercially compliant resources as they relate to KEEs
  • Proactively work with and support compliance in all aspects of planning, activities and engagements
  • Maintain and build on current scientific and business knowledge


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of 6 years of pharmaceutical (including biotech) experience
  • Prior Field Marketing/similar role is required; pharma sales experience is a plus
  • Oncology or rare disease experience required; experience in Neuroendocrine Tumors and Colorectal Cancer preferred
  • Willingness to travel >60% of the time
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
